Clear the bathroom counters

I help clients organize & stage their houses to sell and people often say they wished I had come over years ago. Since I hear that all the time, I figured I would start posting some helpful hints about organization and things to do around your home. My first hint will be to clear the bathroom counters! You will be amazed at how much cleaner your house will look and feel everyday. You should only have your necessities like soap on the counter and a decorative piece or two depending on the size of your counter. Put everything else in a caddy under the sink so that you can pull it out when getting ready for the day and then put it back after you are done. You can pick one up at Target for around $10. If you need more storage space, install a medicine cabinet or get a freestanding floor cabinet. The less items on your counter, the more organized your home will look & feel.
