It’s time for another household tip! I’m going to continue on my love of white vinegar. Did you know it can neutralize the air after cooking something with a strong smell? For example, if your house still smells like tacos from the night before or from the fish you made, try leaving a cup or so of white vinegar out on the kitchen counter for a few hours. The air should be neutralized and back to normal. You can also clean off the hard water buildup on your faucets by filling up a small ziploc bag with a few tablespoons of white vinegar and tie it up to the faucet with a rubber band, making sure the spout of the faucet is completely submerged in vinegar. Leave it for 4-6 hours, remove the bag and lightly scrub with a dish sponge or scrubbing pad. If there is a lot of buildup & it doesn’t all come off easily, then repeat the steps with some fresh vinegar until removed. Then, rinse the area thoroughly with warm water. The result is a faucet that looks brand new!
